Virgo tillers are designed to loosen and mix the soil without turning it, to crush clods, and to cut spreading weeds. They can also be used to mix mineral fertilizers with the soil in agricultural fields and vegetable crops.

The machine is equipped with a traditional hinged rear flap that limits the throwing of soil and stones. Raising the cover reduces soil fragmentation, while lowering it increases fragmentation as soil particles hit the cover.

Standard equipment includes a PTO shaft with an overload clutch to increase the durability and reliability of the transmission.
